At the Dell Technologies Forum in New York City, I had the chance to speak with Vinay Samuel, the CEO and founder of Zetaris. It was great to finally meet in person and chat about data management and AI.

Vinay explained that Zetaris does two main things. First, it has an AI Data Hub. This connects to data wherever it is stored, either in the cloud or in on-premise data centers. Zetaris cleans the data and makes it ready for AI and business intelligence tools. The second feature is Zetaris’ query engine. This engine lets companies run real-time queries across different data sources. This makes data management faster, especially for large companies.

We also talked about Zetaris’ partnership with Dell. Zetaris runs on Dell equipment in data centers, particularly using PowerScale and PowerEdge systems for AI use cases.

I asked Vinay about the risks of using AI without setting up the AI Data Hub. He stressed the need for good data governance. Without it, companies might get bad results from AI. The AI Data Hub makes sure the right data is used and managed correctly.

Interestingly, Zetaris works with the skills data engineers and scientists already have. There is no need to learn new languages or retrain teams. Zetaris uses common languages like SQL and Python. It also handles the more difficult parts of data management automatically.

Before we wrapped up, Vinay said anyone interested in learning more can visit the Zetaris website or follow them on LinkedIn. You’ll be able to see demos and videos or try their open-source version, Zetaris Air. They also offer a free SaaS platform with a usage limit.
